For the first time ever, The Sound has been nominated for a Singing News Fan Award! In May of 2020, they earned a Top 5 Nomination for Favorite New Artist of the year. The Singing News Fan Awards have long been a staple in the world of Gospel Music with nominations and final votes coming directly from fans of the genre.
The Sound has been very busy in 2019 and 2020. The band burst onto the Gospel Music scene with an acclaimed major-label debut album, Make It Count. The first single off of that project, “Can I Get A Witness”, was the group’s first #1 song. Clearly, Gospel Music fans are already embracing this new trio!
